PESHAWAR: Pakistan Housing Authority (PHA) has revealed a plan to build more than 500 low-cost apartments for federal government employees in Peshawar. The formal green light for the plan was granted on February 13th by the concerned authorities.
As per the news details, around 60 kanals of land in Hayatabad and about 18 kanals of land in Hassan Garhi has been allocated to PHA. About 500 moderate low-cost apartments of all categories will be constructed for federal government employees.
Sources further reveals that the land has been offered to PHA free of cost which will bring down their market price and the apartments will be affordable in price. Reportedly, a consultant for the project will be recruited soon and it will take about two months of time to start off with construction work. A PHA representative informed that a formal declaration in regards to the project will soon be made.
